Wrap Up: HB @ SHRA
Parents,
I have been involved in summer league swimming since 1986. We started an hour early and it was the hottest meet I have been to. Well done team
One of the most gracious teams we have ever swum against. Coaches, officials, parents all were great
Final Score Hiddenbrook 245 - SHRA 174
Record Setting Swims: None today
Bob the Gnome Luca Cassara: Monster swims in his breast and fly, dropping time in both both races
Things that went well today:

- Relay upsets 9/10 girls, 11/12 boys, 13-14 boys (huge anchor swims by Lexi Tullia, Avery Sitton and JP White)

Things we need to work on:
- The tattoo wrappers, SHRA, had several trash cans positioned around the team area and a number of kids just threw things on the ground. Coach Colin wanted to emphasize us being better stewards when we are traveling.
- DQs. Oh Lawd, there were way too many!!!
Second Place Ribbons
SHRA ran out of second place ribbons today, Becca and Kelly have a solution, it may take a day or two longer but they will get it fixed
Herndon Olympics
- When I get the timeline for the meet from organizers I will send it out ASAP
Quote of the day -
From SHRA’s Assistant Coach “There is something in the air today”
Coach Colin’s retort “Yeah, it's the heat!”
What the heck situation! If your team fails to put a swimmer on the meet sheet, you can’t run to the table and try to put them in last minute.
