Hello Swim Families!

In preparation for our upcoming away meet against Sleepy Hollow Recreation Association (SHRA), please see below for all relevant details.

We are starting at 8am!!  Because of the heat

Volunteers: Please sign up by Friday at noon. (all jobs are filled, well done team)

Per NVSL standards, all officials should wear a white top and blue bottoms.

(Ref, Stroke & Turn, Starter, Timers, Relay Take off, Marshal)

SHRA is right next door to SHBR, they are separated by a creek and 25’, They are the two closest NVSL teams to each other. YOU CAN NOT PARK AT SHBR.

If you screw this up, you have one more time to fix yourself at All Star Relays

Arrival times:

1. The meet begins at 8am. Hiddenbrook will warm up second from 7:25 to 7.45am. Please make sure your swimmer arrives 20 minutes prior to warm-ups, 7:00am, so they are ready to go.
2. Officials (Ref, Starter, Stroke and Turn judges, Timers, Head Timer, Clerks of Course) should arrive on deck at no later than 7:15 for briefings. Swim Marshals, please arrive prior to 7:20 am.

Parking:

Good Luck, be careful on Sleepy Hollow Road. It is a busy road and the pool is at the bottom of a hill.

Attached is the meet sheet with times.

Make sure your swimmers get plenty of rest and arrive Saturday ready to swim fast. Bob and Marcel have already crunched the swim times. They are currently in a heated disagreement over who is correct with the anticipated score. There will be some very close relays.

SHRA is a 6 Lane L shaped pool with outside buffer lanes. It is a beautiful setting and they have a giant shark that overlooks their pool.

The snack bar and grill will be open, they will have Payment is cash or card

After the Meet:

After the meet, the team will meet for lunch at Santini's in Reston, near the Home Depot.
