Hello Swim Families!

In preparation for our upcoming away meet against Sleepy Hollow Bath and Racquet (SHBR), please see below for all relevant details.

Volunteers: Please sign up by Friday at noon. (all jobs are filled, well done team)

Per NVSL standards, all officials should wear a white top and blue bottoms.

SHBR is right next door to SHRA, they are separated by a creek. They are the two closest NVSL teams to each other. YOU CAN NOT PARK AT SHRA. SHRA has a shark out front, SHBR does not.

In a twist of fate, we swim SHRA next week, so if you screw his up, you get a chance at redemption next week

It's a great pool, They have a double pool set up just like Chesterbrook. We will swim in the upper pool which is a 6 lane racing box. It is a fast and deep pool. It also has one of the most unique set ups of any NVSL pool. Each membership comes with a private cabana for each family to leave their pool floats, swim suits, towels, practice equipment, the au pair, or anything else you don’t want to take home from the pool.

Arrival times:

1. The meet begins at 9am. Hiddenbrook will warm up second from 8:25 to 8.45am. Please make sure your swimmer arrives 20 minutes prior to warm-ups, 8:00am, so they are ready to go.
2. Officials (Ref, Starter, Stroke and Turn judges, Timers, Head Timer, Clerks of Course) should arrive on deck at no later than 8:15 for briefings. Swim Marshals, please arrive prior to 7:50 am, as all Marshals must be in place prior to HB warming up.

Parking:

Good Luck, be careful on Sleepy Hollow Road. It is a busy road and the pool is at the bottom of a hill.

Make sure your swimmers get plenty of rest and arrive Saturday ready to swim fast. Bob and Marcel have already crunched the swim times. If all times hold, HB has a 4 pt lead going into relays. That will make for a great and stressful meet.

15 -18 Fly: Serena Indrisano and 2 SHBR swimmers - separated by 80 hundredths

Concessions:

The snack bar and grill will be open, they will have (Chick-fil-A breakfast sandwiches, donuts, snacks, drinks and, most importantly for parents, COFFEE!). Payment is cash or card

After the Meet:

After the meet, the team will meet for lunch at Santini's in Reston, near the Home Depot.
