Hello Swim Families!

In preparation for our upcoming Time Trials please see below for all relevant details.

Volunteers: Please sign up quickly. We still need 1 timer, 1 marshal and a few concessions.

Per NVSL standards, all officials should wear a white top and navy bottoms. (Ref, Stroke & Turn, Starter, Timers, Relay Take off, Marshal)

Pool Rundown:

Hiddenbrook Pool

1508-A Sadlers Wells Dr, Herndon, VA 20170

It’s a little slice of heaven just north of historic Herndon

The team area will be in the Picnic Area under the Funbrella

Arrival times:

The meet begins at 8am.

10 and Unders arrive at 6:50am: Warm Up will be from 7:00-7:20

11 and Olders arrive at 7:10 am: Warm Up will be from 7:25-7:45

Officials (Ref, Starter, Stroke and Turn judges, Timers, Head Timer, Clerks of Course) should arrive on deck at no later than 7:15 for briefings. Swim Marshals, please arrive prior to 7am, as all Marshals must be in place prior to our team warm-up.

Parking:

There are 91 spaces in Hiddenbrook’s Parking Lot. If the lot is full please be mindful parking on Sadlers Wells, and don’t block mailboxes, driveways and fire hydrants

Helpful Team Area hints:

Please remind your swimmers to bring folding camp chairs to sit in.

• Please bring goggles, sunscreen, swim cap, a foldable chair, towel, bathing suit, bottle of water, snacks, an umbrella, enthusiasm, and the other normal necessities of a meet.

Spectators:

You may sit in the bleachers, please remember not to block people’s view by standing in front of the cones and rails

Concessions:

Our concessions will open at 8am. Matt and Lauren and their team of minions are back again! Hiddenbrook accepts cash and electronic payment.

I am told that world famous pancakes have returned!! Apparently, it is the water from Sugarland Run that makes them taste so sweet.

B - Meet Monday: Fox Mill Estates is putting a coach restriction on Breast and Fly for Monday night. If your swimmer does not legally complete Breast or Fly tomorrow, then they will need to seek a waiver. You need to get Coach Colin's permission to swim Breast or Fly on Monday Please take that in account. If you don’t follow instructions, Casey and Dawn will be after you.
