Introducing our New Head Coach
Hiddenbrook Families,
The coaching committee is proud to announce the hiring of Meghan Voyack
Welcome to the Hiddenbrook Family
A few words about Meghan
Coach Meghan's swimming journey began at the age of 5 in Sterling, VA, where she swam and coached for the Cascades Swim team until college. Growing up in the area, she attended Bishop O'Connell High School, where she was on the Varsity Swim team member, qualifying for States all four years. Since the age of six, Coach Meghan swam for year-round swim clubs in the area, representing Fish, Sea Devils, and NACP.
Coach Meghan attended Coastal Carolina University, where she was a part of the Club Swim team. As part of the team, she traveled up and down the East Coast for swim meets. After earning her bachelor's degree in marketing, Coach Meghan moved to North Carolina, where she embarked on a career in the restaurant industry and worked within the school system as a para-professional in special education.
During her time in North Carolina, Coach Meghan had the privilege of serving as the assistant swim coach at a local high school, taking a team to Regionals and States. A decade later, Coach Meghan returned to Northern VA, where she now serves as a Special Education Teacher at Clearview Elementary School while getting her Masters Degree from George Mason University.
Since returning to the Northern VA area, Coach Meghan has coached two swim teams: the Ashburn Farm Barracudas and is currently the Head Coach for the Stone Bridge High School Swim team. Her coaching philosophy revolves around skill development, personal growth, and fostering teamwork, all within a positive and inclusive environment for her swimmers. Excited about the upcoming season, Coach Meghan is eager to lead her team to success while instilling a lasting love for swimming beyond the pool.
We look forward to a great summer,
