Wrap up vs Vienna Woods
Parents,
Against a strong Vienna Woods team, our kids had some great swims. While the result wasn’t a win our kids kept the energy up, swam hard, cheered for teammates and had fun in the process.
Final Score: Hiddenbrook 178 - Vienna Woods 242
Personal Bests: By our unofficial count, 51 swims today resulted in best times, including the 13-14 Boys 100 Medley Relay breaking their own Hiddenbrook record.
Bob the Gnome: award for this week - Colin Boyle
Colin has been practicing hard and had a great meet dropping time in butterfly. Congrats Colin!
The best friendly rivalry at HB is when the Boyle kids battle for the top 25 fly time.
Some shout outs
Bradley McLean found out this morning that he was going to swim two events filling in for a sick swimmer. Thank you Bradley for stepping in at the last minute and swimming hard.
Daniel King shaved over half a second off his seed time to take first in the boys 13-14 freestyle.
Yoona Selestay in the biggest drop of the day lowered her breaststroke time by over 30 seconds.
It is amazing to see so many great swims and to have over 50 time drops this late in the season.

Wednesday: All Star Relays @ Rutherford

Quote of the day - Coach Jon Radow
“It's hard to coach when you can’t see times” It seems coach Jon couldn’t see times from the coaches area and didn’t know Hiddenbrook had so many top swims until the end of individual events.
Next week: HOME against Little Hunting Park. LHP is 4-0 and on top of the division, but in a virtual meet today, Hiddenbrook would have won 212-208.
