VAC Wrap Up Notes
Parents,
We swam great today, tons of great races and amazing relay comebacks.
Final Score Hiddenbrook 226 - VAC 194
Personal Bests: 70 of 120 individual swims today were best times.
Bob the Gnome award for this week - Emma Detrick
4 amazing swims today including 3 second drop in 11-12 girls butterfly and an upset of the top seeded swimmer
Things we need to better as a team
1) Jewelry. Although not illegal, it is considered a swimming faux pas to swim with watches, necklaces, rings etc.
2) Please do your best to wear Hiddenbrook apparel to the meet.
3) Jon did a “call and repeat” at Santini's today about the things we did well today,
He would say something like, “who wins close races,” and the team would respond, “we do”
“who closes relays hard,” and the team would respond, “we do”
As the team reps we will say, “who leaves a messy team area after meets,” “we do”
Top 10 ranked relays - Top 18 in the league at relay carnival qualify for All-Stars
Boys 8&U Free - 4th out of 102
Boys 13-13 Medley - 6th out of 102
Girls 8&U Free - 19th out of 102

Quote of the day - Dawn Jarvis
Let me set the scene. It's 10:30 pm, she is about to go to sleep and she turns to me and says, “Hey, are you doing any job during the meet tomorrow?”
Me: ….I am the team rep
Dawn: Oh yeah, that's right, you are.
Next week: Lee Graham at Home
Take Care,
Neal and Marc
