Diane Bisbee Volunteer Award

Volunteer: Someone willing to work on behalf of others without the expectation of pay or other tangible gain. No one epitomized this definition more than Diane Bisbee. Her willingness and enthusiasm to accept any and every volunteer opportunity presented to her amazed her friends and family, and inspired everyone to live up to her example.

Diane Bisbee 1958-2012

As you know, parent volunteers are the key to the success of our team. A summer swim team requires a large number of volunteers to run smoothly. It takes a minimum of 42 deck officials to run a meet, and many more to run and support the social and fundraising activities. The “Diane Bisbee Volunteer of the Year” award is voted on by the parents and awarded at the team banquet.

This year there were 10 very deserving volunteers nominated by their peers for this award. Please take a moment to go to the following Google Form, read about their efforts to help this team and vote for this years recipient of this award. The voting will be open until after the A meet on Saturday.

Thank you to all that took the time to nominate a volunteer.
