Hello Swim Families!

In preparation for our upcoming away meet against Lee Graham, please see below for all relevant details.

Volunteers: Please sign up today. Lee Graham does provide water coolers and paper cups for officials

Per NVSL standards, all officials should wear a white top and navy bottoms. (Ref, Stroke & Turn, Starter, Timers, Relay Take off, Marshal)

Pool Rundown:

It's on the corner of Lee Highway and Graham Road, hence the name Lee Graham

One of the most beautiful facilities in the NVSL, It has two pools, a trapezoid shaped play pool and 6 lane racing box, to include a high dive.

There is not a ton of shade at this pool, so bring sunscreen

Arrival times:

1. The meet begins at 9am. Hiddenbrook will warm up second from 8:25 to 8.45am. Please make sure your swimmer arrives 20 minutes prior to warm-ups, 8:05am, so they are ready to go.

2. Officials (Ref, Starter, Stroke and Turn judges, Timers, Head Timer, Clerks of Course) should arrive on deck at no later than 8:15 for briefings. Swim Marshals, please arrive prior to 8am, as all Marshals must be in place prior to our team warm-up.

Parking:

On the day of the meet, they reserve 5 spots in the parking lot,(2 team reps, 2 coaches and 1 data coordinator. The parking lot is available to visitors.

Team Areas:

1. The team area is located at the diving board end of the grass area with the volleyball net as the divider. Our team will be sitting on the other side of the volleyball net. Your swimmers may bring their own seating to the pool. You are also welcome to bring tents for your team - the team area is flat and works perfect with tents.
2. Please bring goggles, sunscreen, swim cap, towel, bathing suit, bottle of water, snacks, enthusiasm, and the other normal necessities of a meet.

Spectators:

See attached image, feel free to bring your own chairs if you don't like pool furniture

We are allowed to share a meet sheet with times this year. It will come out tomorrow, with a list of key races highlighted

Concessions:

The Lee Graham snack bar will be open during the meet. It is a cash only facility

After the Meet:

After the meet, the team will meet for lunch at Santini's in Reston, near the Home Depot.
