Virginia Run Recap

Yesterday was one of the most satisfying wins in my tenure with the team. Definitely in the top 3.

I am going to take you behind the scenes for a moment. On Thursday nights, Carol merges the two teams times and we can see how each race is supposed to go. Bob, Marcel and Jon then pre-score the meet to see how it would look based on seed times. This week we were down four points going into relays and VR beat us on 10 of 12 relays on Wednesday night. Needless to say, we were not in a good place. This means that we would need to be up 44 pts going into relays, in order to win. Which is what makes yesterday's win so great. The team did it, and then the girls team clawed back 4 relays to leave no doubt. The spirit and comradery was excellent.
